AEU has been connecting current and former military members with PTSD relief since 2009. AEU has responded to the need in our community by bringing treatment “in-house” with a full-time Clinical Manager who administers one-on-one therapy sessions. The Clinical Manager also oversees AEU’s Preferred Provider Network (PPN), a curated group of independently licensed providers who deliver priority confidential trauma treatment to AEU clients.

In addition to connecting service members with therapists, AEU complements existing PTSD services by eliminating barriers for underserved communities. Our Vets4Vets program uses a peer support model to build social networks and increase outreach among our service members. Our regular Vets4Vets peer support meetings and social activities empower veterans affected by PTSD to take active roles in supporting both themselves and others.

Vets4Vets meeting occur in the AEU cafe (10605 Burt Circle) every Monday night from 6:00 - 7:00 pm. No reservation required -- just stop by!
